Adding a Front Grille
We were getting worried about our radiator as it was getting little dents in the fins with all the high velocity rocks flying into it. To add a level of protection, we decided to fabricate a custom grille for the Exocet.
For the grille, we cut a sheet of Universal ABS Plastic Grille Mesh into the shape of the opening on the hood.
To mount the grille, we used Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive to glue aluminum L-brackets we got from the hardware store to the fiber glass hood.
Then we used some nuts, bolts, and washers to hold the grille in place.
