Painting the Calipers and Engine Cover
We are not building a showcar but it would be nice to have a car that stands out a little. We decided to give the car a little pop by painting the brake calipers and the engine cover yellow with G2 Brake Caliper paint.
It took several coats but the calipers turned out pretty decent.
After thoroughly cleaning the engine cover, we applied numerous coats of the G2 caliper paint. We had plenty of leftover paint from the single can of the G2 paint we used to finish the brake calipers. Eventually, we got enough paint coverage on the engine cover to be happy with it.
