Swapping from Fiberglass to Aluminum Fenders
This was entirely not necessary but the fiberglass fenders that came with the Exocet are notoriously… not great. They are flimsy and easily break. A good percent of Exocet owners don’t even bother installing them.
We decided to splurge a little by switching to the Speed Circuit Fender Kit. These are made of aluminum with far more substantial mounting hardware.
One punctured tire later, we finally got fenders that don’t vibrate violently on the track.
